It is Pyrrha who lights
fire in a mans heart. It is the name given by Horace to his beloved
muse in his odes. The Emperor Augustus called Horace "a most
immaculate libertine."
In this blog you will find, in part, that which makes me who I am. My
passion for Latin, law, and writing. I have been inspired by Poets,
Authors Satirists and Scoundrels. Some of these scoundrels are
personal friends of mine.
They each added fuel to the proverbial flame, that portion of the soul yearning for expression, and to make a difference if possible.
In that Spirit, I present this Web Log, or "Blog", to the world.
